My Approach


If you don't like candids or all you want is perfectly posed photos with everyone looking at the camera, I'm not the photographer for you. I say this with love!


Instead of directing with specific poses, I suggest playful prompts for interaction and connection with your family. From your outfits to your mindset, come prepared to play and have fun at your session!


The takeaway: you should not book with me without feeling comfortable with my style. Candid, playful moments are most aligned with my brand. All parents must come prepared to PLAY, connect, and engage with your kids!


Phones are not allowed during your session, and neither are grumpy Dads. I also say this with love.

Frequently asked questions

Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

There is no travel fee for sessions within King  County. Beyond  King County, a $99 travel will apply. There are a few exceptions however. For example Woodinville is close enough that I don't need to compensate with a travel fee. If you have any doubt about your desired session location, just reach out and I'm happy to let you know!

Do you travel for photoshoots outside of Washington?

Occasionally! If you are interested in a specific destination, definitely reach out and we can chat about it!

How do we choose a location and know what to wear?

My Welcome & Style Guide has a lot of helpful tips, but I am also here for you! During our planning stage, we will discuss things like your family personality, style, and interests. I love thinking "outside the box" for family sessions and am here to make your session unique and meaningful.

How long does it take to receive the final photos?

My typical turn around time during the "busy season" (summer and fall) is 4-6 weeks.
